Brother Filtration Ultra-H high flow filter cartridge, which is known as a great replacement for 3M CUNO high flow element, has been approved for its performance by a large Chinese coal chemical plant.
China has invested 550 billion CNY for this project, which takes a total area of 815.67 hectares and the plant area reaches 334.4 hectares. In this plant, coal is used as raw material, in which 19.376 million tons of raw coal, 5.219 million tons of fuel coal, and 24.595 million tons in total are consumed per year.
The project’s annual water consumption is 24.78 million square meters.
The project is completed and put into operation, producing 4.05 million tons of oil per year, which is the largest single investment portfolio and the largest installation in the world with independent intellectual property rights of the coal indirect liquefaction demonstration project.

This project is the first phase of the pretreatment and membrane desalination plant, including mine tailing tandem pretreatment and membrane desalination, coal chemical wastewater pretreatment and membrane desalination, and compliance discharge treatment.
The total water treatment in this phase reaches 5000m3/h, which requires 16 pcs of high flow housings in two units. The quantities of water treatment for each housing achieved 300 m3/h, and each housing contains 8 pcs 40inch filter element.
There have two RO systems in a plant, the raw water is combining with wastewater and mining water after prefiltration and RO membrane filtration. After the RO membrane treatment, the water goes to the next production process.
Until now we have provided 6000 pcs Ultra-H high flow filter to this plant, and the performance is quite good. Our Ultra-H high flow cartridge filter is equipped with a large dirt-holding capacity, high flow rate, and super filtration area than vertical pleated technology.
