Multi Round Bag Filter Housing

Overview

Typically, the housing of a bag filter is composed of stainless steel, and the inside filter element is filled with PP or PE filter bags or other filter elements. An innovative filtering technology that supports bag filter housing is pressure filtration.

The metal mesh basket holds up the filter bag inside the housing. After passing through the filter bag, the liquids exit through the outlet after entering through the inlet.

Classic Multi Bag Filter Housing is designed for optimum filtration performance. Its range provides filtration solutions for a broad variety of fluid applications in the process industry.

They are particularly useful for filtering large volumes of high viscosity liquids. A bag filter is constructed of the filter housing, and an internal cage can support bags.

The internal support ensures bags will not burst as high differential pressures build up during operation. Unfiltered fluid enters the housing and is distributed evenly around the filter bags. Filtration takes place from inside to outside. Solids are collected on the inside of the filter bag for easy removal. The filtered fluid then exits through the outlet pipe.

If the original water quality is not very clean, and particles are superabundant, we suggest that the filter can go with only the basket inside without the bag filter element inside. Also,  if the water is very dirty and with too many solids, it is better to go with one strainer as prefiltration before bag filter housings.

No matter the basket strainers or bag filter housings, they both offer a wide range of flow capacities and dirt-holding capabilities. The number of the bag filter element inside is from 2 to 23 pcs.

And the appropriate design enables it easy and quick to be cleaned. In consideration of seawater treatment, carbon steel (Sprayed with halar) and duplex filter housing is available.

One of the key points of the filter housing is seal performance, we use machined cover gasket groove to provide positive O-ring sealing.
