DeltaMax PES Membrane Filter adopts the PES membrane, and the shell is made of polypropylene hard cage or stainless steel lining hot melt welding. Our Polyethersulfone membranes (PES) are hydrophilic and manufactured using PES pure polymer. Asymmetrical structure with high pore size, high porosity and large flux.
PES membrane removes the need for the use of surfactants to improve dampness and comes with a high flow rate and high load capacity. They are ideal for tissue culture media sterilization, life science and microbiology fluid applications, clinical, and general filtration.
This is a very versatile membrane in applications such as sample preparation and sterile filtrations. Its low protein absorption makes this the type of membrane mainly chosen for use in laboratory applications. PES Membrane Filters are available in two porosities: 0.2µm for sterilization and complete bacterial retention and 0.45µm for particulate removal and clarification. Both porosities are available in industry standard 13, 25, 47, and 90mm diameters. PES Disc Filters are autoclavable and gamma-stable.
