What is a filter bag?

Filter bags can be the ideal solution for your industrial filtration application needs. They are designed to remove contaminants and debris from liquids and the dirt is caught inside the bag. Other filter technologies collect the solids on the outside of the device giving them the potential to dislodge into the filter upon removal. Filter bags keep the clean side of the filter that way, The filter bags remove the amount and size of contaminants depends on their specific micron rating.

What is extend long-life filter bag?

It is obvious according to its name, that extend long life ( EEL) filter bag has a longer service life. And the EEL filter bag manufactured by Brother Filtration can achieve a 5 times longer lifespan.

Brother Filtration EEL filter bags are constructed of a fully welded design and are made of polyester or polypropylene filter media. In addition, 5 different ring options are offered by us, which enable it to suit various applications. Customers can choose the most suitable one based on their real needs.

Our EEL filter bag with unique needle-felt fiber construction of doubling the pore space can significantly increase 4 times the dirt-holding capacity in filtration performance without affecting its initial pressure drop. And this EEL filter bag can reduce labour costs and maintenance costs due to its outstanding lifetime and capacity.

Brother Filtration use high-standard raw materials to produce the high-quality EEL filter bag. The materials are certificated by FDA compliance per 21 CFR 177, which enable them suitable for food & beverage application.

In production, we use a special surface finishing to prevent fiber migration, and fully welded construction to eliminate any possibility of bypass. The micron rating of our EEL filter bag is from 0.2um to 250um. According to the tests and use from customers of Eaton long-life bags, it can perfectly substitute for Eaton’s long-life filter bag – POXL, PEXL series.
